Forbes Shire Council Stormwater Education Project 5 September 2001 The Forbes Shire Council’s stormwater education project gets off to a flying start at this year’s Forbes Show. A display outlining the problems that contaminated stormwater can cause and practical tips on preventing pollution will be on show. Leaflets will be available and Council staff will be on hand at the Show to answer questions. Children and families can enter a Stormwater competition. All entries will receive a prize. The first correct entry drawn at the end of the Show will win the major prizes of a family pass to Forbes Cinema and a water-saving garden tap timer. There’ll be plenty of assistance with the answers. The display and competition are situated at the Forbes Shire Council stand in the Burrawang Pavilion. END
